Original British Westley Richards Monkeytail Capping Breech Loading Percussion Rifle Dated 1867 Ordnance The front sight is fixed The front sight is fixed and the rear sight is a three folding leaf type and there is a bayonet lug mounted on the right side of the barrel 3 inches back of the muzzle The water reservoirs were connected by rubber hoses to these condenser cans so that stream would flow out of the jacket and into a partially filled water can condensing and could then to be poured back into the water reservoir and recycled
